I recently signed up for a “VIP” online investment club. The people in charge, I realize now, somehow managed to manipulate a small-cap stock so the members made profits.

The initial profitability gained their confidence, and then it was crunch time. The goal was to get investors to put money into cryptocurrencies like bitcoin

BTCUSD, ether ETHUSD and dogecoin DOGEUSD.
