Dow Jones Newswires: Super Micro shares rise 5% on scheduled addition to S&P MidCap 400

edged up 5% to nearly $83 in after-hours trading Monday following a notice that the company will replace Steel Dynamics Inc. in the S&P MidCap 400.

The server and computer products maker’s addition to the index will be effective prior to the opening of trading on Thursday, S&P Dow Jones Indices said.
