Economic Report: Coming up: UMich consumer sentiment survey

Check back for a report after the data is released.

Consumer sentiment is expected to remain at near-decade lows, according to a survey by the University of Michigan set to be released at 10 a.m. Eastern Wednesday.

Economists polled by the Wall Street Journal expect an index reading of 66.8, in line with the preliminary November figure released earlier this month. The preliminary reading showed that consumers views of rising inflation were negatively impacting their views of the economy, despite strong jobs and wage growth.
